The first step in preparation for registration for your spring classes is to see your advisor.  Check under Advising Contact Information below and find the area that relates to your major/program.  Look under Registration Dates to determine when you will be able to register or under our Important Links section for the path in ISIS to see when you will be able to register and if you have any registration holds.  You can also find additional websites under the Important Links section giving you additional registration information and degree/major checksheets.

If you are completing pre-professional requirements for allied health areas such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, dental hygiene, radiologic technology, pre-optometry, etc., you should see Courtney Heath or Trevor Francis in the Fulbright College Advising Center, MAIN 518, 575-3307.

Freshman and Sophomore Biology also doing Premed (including Honors Biology and premed students without a major):
Please sign up for an individual appointment beginning Monday, September 29 on the sheets posted outside Dr. McLachlin’s office door (Science Engineering 625). New sheets will be added every week. PLEASE DO NOT email or phone requesting an appointment.

Freshman and Sophomore Premed Students who are NOT Biology Majors:
Freshman and sophomore premed students in Fulbright College with a major other than Biology are advised in the Fulbright College Advising Center. Call 575-3307 for an appointment. DO NOT email requesting an appointment.  Students in this category are asked to first be advised in the Advising Center and then attend a group advising session for premed advising.  Group sessions will be held in Science Engineering 606 during the weeks of October 20 and November 3 (see details below).

Premed Group Advising Sessions: SCEN 606
The times for group advising will be posted outside of SCEN 606 (across from Dr. McLachlin’s office) by October 13 .  You do not need to sign up to attend a group advising session. Please see your advisor for your major/program first to insure that you are meeting the requirements for graduation. The group advising sessions are designed to make sure you are up to date with current information regarding medical school requirements and that you are on track for taking the MCAT in your Junior year. All Junior and Senior Premed Students:
You should first be advised in the department of your major and then attend one of Dr. Neil Allison’s premedical advising sessions. These sessions are designed specifically for Juniors and Senior-level students to cover changes that pertain to applying to medical school. The times and locations will announced on the premedical society (AED) student listserv.

Starting October 22 advising information and assignments will be posted at the music department office in MUSC 201.

All students who are undecided about their major and who are not four-year honors students are advised in the Fulbright College Advising Center, MAIN 518, 575-3307.  Please call or come by the office for an appointment.

The Fulbright College Advising Center advises all freshmen and sophomores in the college who are not four-year honors or music.  Call 575-3307 or come by MAIN 518 to schedule an appointment. Advising appointments begin September 24 . It is to your advantage to call early and make an appointment while times are readily available and convenient. Once appointment times are all filled, students will be seen on a walk-in basis beginning October 27.
