From the Desk of the President, Paul Bixby

The Razorback Chapter hopped a lift in my Dad's 1945 Ford GPW (fully restored) jeep to participate in Fayetteville's "Parade of the Century" on Veteran's Day. Between my Dad, LtCol (Ret) Marvin D. Bixby, and myself, we covered the Korean, Vietnam, and Desert Storm eras. John Burrow (AFA State President) and my daughter, Savannah, lent a hand with beauty and civic pride. I won't indicate who represented which!

LtCol (Ret.) Steve Gray did a super job coordinating and planning the events. Steve, thanks for your efforts. Fayetteville rolled out the red carpet for the best Veteran's Day event I've ever seen. The crowds were fantastic and their true appreciation for the veterans of Northwest Arkansas was evident. I didn't know whether to salute, applaud, or cry every time the crowd clapped, saluted, waved their flags, or simply yelled "THANK YOU". It was truly an honor to participate in an event that recognized our veterans in such huge and genuine way.
