Shelter Needs
These items are especially needed now (spring, 2001):
- Kitten chow and puppy food
- Canned cat food
- Pet carriers (plastic ones can be disinfected)
- Wild bird seed for outdoor bird feeders
- Bleach, hand dishwashing detergent
- Paper towels
- Liquid handwashing soap for restrooms
- 3 x 5 index cards for cage cards
- Black BIC pens
- Old towels and blankets for animal bedding
- Hand wipes to help stop spread of disease
- And most useful of all: money
Don't forget about the Memorial Bricks. For $25 a plaque will be inscribed
with up to three lines. It takes about
two weeks for the plaque to be placed on the Shelter's Memorial Wall (the
brick wall just inside the door).
