ARHS1003 Basic Course in the Arts: Art Lecture (FA, SP, SU) A general introduction to the visual arts. Lectures on theory and criticism, demonstrations, films, and slides. ARHS6943 Seminar: Critical Thought in Art (FA) Explore topics of concern to the studio artist involving underlying concepts and purposes of art as well as models and methods for the analysis of art. Course based on discussions of selected readings, prepared papers and seminar reports. Prerequisite: graduate standing.
