GRADUATE STUDIES
The University of Arkansas offers programs leading to advanced degrees in business administration. A one-year program leading to the Master of Business Administration degree is designed for college graduates with adequate undergraduate preparation in business administration; a two-year program leading to the same degree is available for graduates of professional schools and liberal arts colleges with no undergraduate background in business administration. Students with some undergraduate work in business administration may complete the latter program in less than two years. For specifically qualified students the University offers a program of work leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in business administration.
The College offers a one-year program leading to the Master of Accountancy. Students without previous work in business administration and economics may complete the program in two years. Students without previous work in accounting beyond the principles level, but with undergraduate majors in business administration or economics may complete the Master of Accountancy program in as little as three semesters.
The University of Arkansas also offers a one- and two-year program leading to the Master of Arts degree in economics. For specially qualified students the University offers a program of work leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in economics.
The University of Arkansas Master of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy programs are accredited by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business.
