The graduate program in agricultural law leading to the Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in agricultural law provides opportunities for advanced study, creative research and specialized professional training in this rapidly developing area of law. The program is designed to prepare a small number of carefully selected attorneys as specialists in the legal problems of agricultural production, marketing, and distribution. Graduates of the program will seek employment in private practice representing farm, ranch, or agribusiness interests; government agencies involved with agriculture; agribusiness, both domestic and international; agricultural financial institutions; and academic institutions where they may engage in research, teaching, and extension activities in agricultural law and related areas.
