Completion of the Bachelor of Science in Education degree has two options: non-certification and certification. Requirements for initial teacher certification may be met by completing the B.S.E. and the Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) (See the Graduate School Catalog.)
Basic Plan
In addition to the General Studies and the 18-hour Professional Pre-Education Core, the following courses are required for a major in Business Education and upon completion of the Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) degree, will qualify the graduate for the teaching of business education courses excluding marketing and computer technology.
