During the Spring of 2001, as part of modifications to our transaction approval and security sub-systems, Financial Affairs centralized responsibility and authority for desk administration. This means that previous departmental desk administrators can no longer take such actions as creating, assigning and deleting desks. View access is still available. Most day-to-day changes will now take place automatically since the system has been programmed to forge a link between a desk assignment and a position in PSB.
