Glossy Abelia

Flowers: Funnel-shaped, white to pink flowers on new growth from late Mayuntil frost.

Foliage: Dark green, fine-textured, bronzing in fall. Evergreen in the South.

Fruit: Insignficant

 

Location: Abundant plantings on the University of Arkansas campus. Common as a foundation planting. Examples can be found around the parking deck next to the Union (northeast side).
