Flowers: Inconspicuous pale green flowers, beginning in early summer and continuing into fall.

Foliage: Shiny, dark green leaves; cultivars are commonly variegated yellow or white.

Fruit: Creamy pink, opening to expose a red aril, ripening in fall.

 

Location: Probably best located at your local discount retailer or home improvement store; not reliably hardy in Fayetteville.
