Flowers: Small white flowers in late spring, not showy. Dioecious.

Foliage: Evergreen, lustrous, flat, spineless, leaves.

Fruit: Black berries on female plants, hidden by foliage. White-fruited cultivars are showier.

 

Location: Several plants are located in the garden near the Rosen Alternative Pest Control building.
