Small-flowered Anise Shrub

Flowers: Small, creamy yellow, in spring, and sporadically throughout the season. Not significant, but the best way to identify this Illicium.

Foliage: Greenish-yellow, whorled, fragrant when crushed (smells like gin).

Fruit: Small, star-shaped fruit.

 

Location: Horticulture Display Garden.
