Winterberry

Flowers: Small white flowers in late spring, on currrent season growth, not showy. Dioecious.

Foliage: Deciduous, rich green in summer, no fall color.

Fruit: On female plants, large orange to red berries, ripening in the fall and persisting into the winter.

 

Location: A large planting of several different cultivars near the Ag Annex.
