Flowers: Small white flowers on short racemes in early to mid-spring.

Foliage: Glossy, medium to dark green, leathery leaves.

Fruit: Green, ripening to blue-black, persisting into winter. Attractive to birds.

 

Location: There is a large plant next to the door on the east side of the Army ROTC building. There is another attractive specimen at the southwest corner of the Delta Delta Delta sorority house.
