Flowers: Pink, red, rose, white, or purple flowers, often with a contrasting throat, in April.

Foliage: Medium to dark green foliage, fine textured, occasional reddish or yellow fall color.

Fruit: Capsule, not ornamental.

Location: Large planting in front of the Rosen Alternative Pest Control building (these plants have white flowers).
