Seasonal Interest and Photographs

Flowers: Lilac blue, reddish blue or white, in March, usually earlier than V. major. Occasionally obscured by foliage.

Foliage: Lustrous, leathery, dark green and evergreen.

Fruit: Capsule, not ornamental.

Location: There is a planting near the front door of the Plant Sciences Building (east side).
