Flowers: Large, creamy white flowers, fragrant, in mid to late spring.
Foliage: Glaucous (waxy), gray-green, sword-shaped foliage, sharp-pointed ends.
Fruit: Unsightly capsule.
Location: There is a planting of this species on the north side of the Graduate Education Building.
