Flowers: monoecious, inconspicuous, opening in late fall.
Foliage: medium green needles arranged spirally around the twig. Bronzes in winter.
Fruit: small cones
Trunk, Branching, Twigs: Bark peels in long reddish strips.
Location: Plant Sciences Building, north planting bed by Maple St.
