Flowers: Monoecious, male cones abundant and subtly noticeable, in spring.

Foliage: Glaucous, blue-green, scale-like leaves on ropy growths.

Fruit: Small cone, not significant

Trunk, Branching, Twigs: Dark, shiny mahogany-brown bark, exfoliates in patches..

Location: The only tree on campus, the variety 'Glauca' is located near the northeast corner of Humphreys Hall.
