Flowers: Monoecious, inconspicuous, in spring.

Foliage: Bright green, deciduous needles, opposite arrangement, red-yellow then brown fall color.

Fruit: Small cones.

Trunk, Branching, Twigs: Trunk is fissured and butressed.

 

Location: A single plant on the west side of the Union.
