Canadian Hemlock

Flowers: Monoecious, not significant, in spring.

Foliage: Young foliage light yellow-gren, changing to glossy dark green. Two glaucous, white bands underneath.

Fruit: Slender cones, to one inch long, at the tips of branches.

 

Location: On the north side of the Plant Sciences building.
