Flowers: White, pink, rose or red flowers in February or March.

Foliage: Medium to dark green, medium to coarse texture, plant is larger than Chaenomeles japonica.

Fruit: Greenish yellow apple-like fruits, not common, larger than Chaenomeles japonica.

Location: Several plants on the Old Main mall, near Arkansas and Dickson Ave.
