Burning Bush

Flowers: Green, late spring, hidden by foliage.

Foliage: Medium green in leaf. Turning a screaming red-pink in fall under optimum conditions. Quite noticeable.

Fruit: Red, showy arils, often hidden by the foliage.

Trunk, Branching, Twigs: Twigs have corky wings, horizontal branching.

 

Location: On the north side of the Law School, near the northwest corner.
