GROWTH HABIT, RATE:
Will grow to 20 feet with time, normally broader than high.
ADAPTABILITY:
Best fall color in full sun, moist but well drained soils. Not drought tolerant.
FUNCTIONS:
Hedge, screen, border. Overused in the landscape and invasive into the wild.
PROBLEMS AND MAINTENANCE:
Not susceptible to Euonymus scale. May require supplemental watering during
dry spells.

SUBSPECIES, VARIETIES, CULTIVARS:
'Compactus'- slower growing than type but will still reach 10 feet in height,
