Rose-of-Sharon

Flowers: White, red, purple, or blue, single or double. Borne on new growth, beginning in mid June and continuing through September.

Foliage: Medium green in leaf, late leafing out. No fall color. Leaves lobed.

Fruit: Five-valved dehiscent capsule, persisting through winter.

 

Location: In between the Presbyterian-Christian Campus Center and the Delta Delta Delta sorority.
