GROWTH HABIT, RATE:
Long, pliable, arching stems, will sucker and spread, to 3 feet north, but larger
(possibly 10 feet) in the south.
ADAPTABILITY:
Does well in moist soil, will tolerate drought. pH adaptable. Flowers best in
full sun.
FUNCTIONS:
A large groundcover in moist areas, naturalizing.
PROBLEMS AND MAINTENANCE:
Chlorosis in high pH soils. Cultivar selection is important to avoid winter
injury.
