Flowers: Tubular pink flowers with a orange/yellow throat, in early to mid May..
Foliage: Dull grayish-green, usually little fall color.
Fruit: Bristly capsule, persistent, an excellent means of winter identification.
Location: On Dickson Street, at the northeast corner of Parking Lot 16, near the Kappa Sigma house.
