Viburnum x burkwoodii Burkwood & Skipwith.
 
Burkwood Viburnum

Flowers: Pink in bud, opening to white flowers, early April. Fragrant, lasting 7-10 days.

Foliage: Glossy, dark green, fall color is a sporadic wine-red. Drops leaves in early winter.

Fruit: Red berries, ripening to black, requires multiple clones for fruit set. Ripens in early autumn.

 

Location: In the garden adjacent to the Rosen Alternative Pest Control Center, the south side of the garden.
