GROWTH HABIT, RATE:
Spreading, low-growing shrub, often broader than high.
ADAPTABILITY:
Well-drained, moist soils, slightly acidic but adaptable. Some shade in warmer
zones, especially in the afternoon.
FUNCTIONS:
Shrub border, massing. Attractive summer appearance, should be used more in
the landscape.
PROBLEMS AND MAINTENANCE:
Relatively maintenance free. Resists bacterial leaf spot. Requires another,
different clone, for maximal fruit set.
