European Cranberrybush

Flowers: Late April to early May, showy sterile flowers surround smaller fertile flowers, except in cultivars where all flowers are sterile. Flowers are white.

Foliage: Dark green, smooth, maple shaped.

Fruit: Red berries ripen in late summer and last into winter.

 

Location: In the garden adjacent to the Rosen Alternative Pest Control Center; south side of garden. This plant is a dwarf form.
