Flowers: White flowers in flattened clusters in mid to late April, later than V. prunifolium.

Foliage: Dark green, leathery and shiny, burgundy to red fall color.

Fruit: Dark blue-black drupes, ripening in fall.

Trunk, Branching, Twigs: Buds are covered with short brown hairs.

 

Location: On the west side of the Plant Sciences building, next to V. prunifolium.
