Flowers: Pink-red "powderpuffs" from throughout June, July and August. Fragrant.
Foliage: Pinnately compound, fine-textured foliage, medium green in color. No fall color.
Fruit: Flat pods, ugly and persistent
Location: A tree in the woods to the west of POSC and northeast of the Health Center.
