Flowers: Small, white, numerous in March, but short-lived.
Foliage: Red-bronze when unfolding, green when mature, red to red-bronze fall color.
Fruit: Red, ripening to purple-black, edible and attractive to birds.
Location: In between the Fine Arts building and the Chemistry building, at the south end of this open area.
