Flowers: Inconspicuous in early spring.

Foliage: Medium green leaves, medium to coarse texture, dull yellow fall color.

Fruit: Inconspicuous purple-black berries, edible, but with a rock-hard pit.

Trunk, Branching, Twigs: Medium gray bark.

Location: The Old Main mall, on the south side of the sidewalk, close to the front door of Old Main.
