Flowers: Small, yellowish, in large fuzzy panicles, in June. Individual flowers are inconspicuous.
Foliage: Bluish green in species, orange-yellow fall color. Purple leaves in cultivars. Late to leaf out.
Fruit: Actual fruit is inconspicuous, but plumose hairs on panicle are silky and attractive through the summer. Plumes are silky pink to purple.
Location: Bank of Fayetteville on Dickson St. Also around Parking Lot 56 at the corner of Sixth and Razorback.
