GROWTH HABIT, RATE:
With age, open and round-topped, oval, medium growth rate.

ADAPTABILITY:
Full sun, deep, moist, well-drained soil, pH adaptable.

FUNCTIONS:
Shade or street tree, superior to Green Ash as an ornamental.

PROBLEMS AND MAINTENANCE:
Leaf spots, borers, ash flower gall (mite), scale, litter and weed seedlings. Ash decline caused by a mycoplasma.

Eastern United States and adjacent Canada, Arkansas native plant
