Green Ash

Flowers: Greenish to reddish purple, mid spring, inconspicuous.

Foliage: Pinnately compound leaves, medium to dark green summer foliage. Clear yellow fall color is selected cultivars are used.

Fruit: Samara, not ornamental.

Trunk, Branching, Twigs: Branches sweep up then curl down at ends.

 

Location: Lining the central sidewalk on the Old Main mall.
