Flowers: White, bell-shaped flowers in April.

Foliage: Dark green leaves turn yellowish in fall.

Fruit: Four-winged fruits, green turning brown in fall and persisting, good I.D. clue.

Trunk, Branching, Twigs: Smooth, subtly striped bark.

 

Location: In the garden adjacent to the Rosen Alternative Pest Control Center, at the south end of the garden.
