GROWTH HABIT, RATE:
Very coarse texture. Fast growing, oval to rounded shape, but often irregular
in habit.
ADAPTABILITY:
Peforms best in moist, well-drained soils in full sun. Adaptable to soil type.
FUNCTIONS:
Specimen, shade tree.
PROBLEMS AND MAINTENANCE:
Short-lived, weak wooded, produced vast quantities of seeds which germinate
into a vast quantity of weed seedlings. Winter kill of flower buds in cold winters.
