Flowering Pear

Flowers: White flowers in clusters before the leaves, opening in early to mid March.

Foliage: Emerges pale green, becomes dark green and lustrous in summer. Fall color is mahogany to orange-red; very late in the fall, usually the last tree to color.

Fruit: Small round brown fruits, insignificant.

 

Location: On the south side of Bell, next to Dickson St. Overabundant in the area.
