Grape Pest: Grape Root Borer
Scout: July & August look for pupal skins
Tactic: If pupa seen last year:
- Mound soil over pupae in late June & late July or
- Apply Lorsban 4E at rate of 4 1/2 pints in 100 gallons of water at 35 d before harvest
- Remove weeds under vines (spring)
- Apply 1 qt spray to soil under each vine
- Do not get residue on fruit or foliage
