Your "early grades" have been reported to isis. These are estimates of how you are doing currently. It does not mean that if you were to quit working in the course now, you'd get this grade.
These were determined solely on the basis of the grade on the first exam. Because some people missed that exam, some people plan to take the universal makeup, and some people's work in "drill" counts as 20% of their final grade, this may not be an accurate representation of what students' final grades will be.
Here's the key to the estimates:
| Grade on First Exam: | Early Grade: |
| 0 - 9 | F |
| 9.5 - 10 | D |
| 10.5 - 11 | C |
| 11.5 - 12 | B |
| 12.5 - 15 | A |
Mistakes can be made. (I could have mistakenly entered a "1" instead of a "15" in a gradebook, for instance.) So, if your early grade report does not match up with the above chart, check with us.
