Student organizations continue to register throughout the year.  Therefore, this publication may not include all the organizations that are registered or active on our campus.  Please keep in mind that student officers and advisors of student organizations also change throughout the year.  This listing is periodically updated in an effort to include accurate information on as many clubs as possible.

Types of Registered Student Organizations

 

GOVERNING – An organization whose primary purpose is to serve as a governing body for a large or specific constituency of students.

 

GREEK – An organization with Greek letters who is a member of the National Interfraternity Council, the National Panhellenic Council, or the National Pan-hellenic Council (NPHC).

 

HONORARY/SERVICE – An organization that requires a minimum grade point average as a prerequisite to membership and/or is affiliated with a national organization or profession.

 

INTERNATIONAL/CULTURAL – An organization whose primary purpose is to provide a forum in which participants create an awareness for a specific culture through educational, social and recreational activities.

 

PROFESSIONAL – An organization whose primary purpose is to provide a forum for participants to discuss and develop professional careers.

 

RELIGIOUS – An organization whose primary purpose is to provide information and activities associated with one or more religions.
