Welcome to the web pages of

SPACE AND PLANETARY SCIENCES GRADUATE PROGRAM

Orientation Field Trip

Welcome to Orientation!
On these pages you will find news, announcements, assignments, handouts, and hopefully other useful material on the field trip.

You will probably find the trip more useful if you read these materials before and after the trip.

The program organizes a field trip at the beginning of every academic year so that everyone can get to know each other and the mood can be set for the lectures, seminars and laboratory work of the upcoming year.  For students with no previous exposure to fieldwork, it is a valuable insight into this aspect of space and planetary science research.  To date, we have assembled three courses that have or could be offered.  We will add more as they are developed.
