TRC Professors Don Johnson and George Wardlow secured a USDA grant in 1999 to establish the TRC. Continued support is provided by Bumpers College. Mission Statement The mission of the Teaching Resource Center (TRC) is to enhance the professional development of faculty, academic professionals, and academic departments within the Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences at the University of Arkansas. The focus of the center is to support improvements in teaching and learning. To achieve this goal, the Center: § provides opportunities for training and technical assistance in a wide range of teaching methods and instructional technologies; § offers support and mentoring services to new faculty; § disseminates information to faculty about professional opportunities for teaching, research, and service;
§ provides a forum for the discussion of teaching related issues.
