Robert Bacon received a B.S. degree in Agronomy
from
the University of Arkansas in 1978 and then an M.S. degree from the
Department
in 1980 working in crop science in the area of small grains breeding.
In 1983 he received his Ph.D. from Purdue University working in plant
breeding and genetics, specifically with grain sorghum. He has been in
the Department since 1984.
