Courses
The study of reproduction and development of weeds and the ecological
factors affecting these processes; biochemical and molecular mechanisms
of differential tolerance to herbicides; the biochemical and molecular mechanisms
of herbicide resistance in plants; flow of herbicide-resistance genes; application
of biotechnology for the development of herbicide-resistant crops; and application
of molecular biology techniques for weed science research.
- CSES 4143 - Principles of Weed Control
Advanced concepts and technology used in modern weed control practices
and the study of chemistry, specific activity, and mode of action of herbicides
in plants.
