Biological Anthropology
Biological anthropology is broadly interested in the present and past nature and evolution of humankind and other primates, with particular strength in dental anthropology. We offer training in evolutionary theory, paleoanthropology, dental analysis, bioarcheology, comparative morphology, and environmental adaptation. Our faculty use a range of analytical tools, including GIS, image analysis, comparative morphometrics, and are actively engaged in bioarcheological, paleontological, and primatological fieldwork. Our biological anthropology laboratory facilities are competitive with any in the world.
