KECK LAB

The W. M. Keck Laboratory for Space Simulation was founded in 2004 in order to perform research on the history and origin of the solar system by simulating conditions in space in the laboratory.  Two environmental chambers are in operation, one for investigating physical and geological processes and one for biological processes.  In addition, a small chamber provides a means of simulating the effects of cosmic radiation.  The Keck Lab is part of the Arkansas Center for Space and Planetary Sciences.
