OLD MAIN

Old Main is the oldest building on the University of
Arkansas campus (1874) and it has become an icon around the state. Senator Fulbright received his all his
formal education in this building and President Clinton taught here (a rumor
is that a blackboard full of his lecture notes has been sealed up in a
wall). Now this beloved building
serves as an emblem of the academic life of the flagship campus of the State
of Arkansas.
